This steel bracket is the best way to secure a
PDR100 or SS1000. The main bracket has a series of countersunk screw holes
(number 6 flathead) that you can use to directly attach the bracket to plastic,
metal, or wood. You can also use the external mounting ears to attach the
bracket using 1/4" or smaller bolts or screws.
Or you can attach the bracket with straps, cable ties, or velcro, even duct
tape.
Once the bracket is attached, simple insert the PDR into the U shape and press
gently down until you hear the unit "click" into place. The side retaining locks
will firmly hold the PDR and will not release under shock and vibration. To
release, simply pull either or both handles to the side and the unit will pop
out.

retention beyond this, use the optional retaining clamp. Part number
