BHP's philosophy is simple, they believe in
delivering to the customer the best products in the world by using cutting edge
technology and innovation. They realized that one size does not fit all and they
do not try to cater to any market other than ultra high performance. By
concentrating their efforts this way BHP has developed XPS, an ultra-performance
brake friction material that has significant advantages across a very broad
temperature spectrum. We believe XPS offers unrivalled performance in highway
use.
BHP's superior engineering and rigorous
dynamometer and vehicle testing enabled the XPS line of friction materials to
outperform any current performance brake pads for street applications.
Further-more, if you drive your car to club events and do not use slick tires,
the XPS product line will be more than sufficient for aggressive track use.
XPS is a high friction composite based on a low
metallic content matrix that uses an advanced aramid and ceramic fiber
cross-linking system. This unique XPS formulation provides high initial bite
with a linear non-progressive torque curve. Even more impressive is the fact the
cold torque (friction) profile is within 5% of the hot torque profile which
translates to a predictable pedal feel through out the operating range of
friction. XPS has an ambient operating temperature range from 0 degrees F up to
800 degrees F for street use and up to 1100 degrees F for track use.
BHP Features:
- Low Metallic Content
- Low Noise
- Superior Quality Finish
- Fine Blanked Back Plates
- Reduced Bedding Requirement
