What is a CAMBER TRUSS?
It is a device called a Triangulated Shock Tower Brace which we designed to tune your suspension by maintaining your tire‘s flat contact patch under hard cornering and braking. This is not an easy task without the proper equipment but what an incredible improvement when engineered correctly!
As illustrated, when cornering, both wheels and tires move off the true vertical line (zero camber) and the vehicle weight is then carried on only a small part of the tread. Clearly, both struts and shock towers move in the same direction under cornering force and therefore allow the wheels/tires to move off true vertical. If the suspension provided significantly more resistance to the cornering forces fed through the tires, the wheel centerline would be closer to true vertical.
In response, all professional race car engineers design various ways of triangulating the suspension to "lock -in " the true vertical line of zero camber. Connecting the top two points of the suspension with a single bar with flexible rod ends creates a moving trapezoid which provides no more resistance to cornering forces. Such a design is truly inferior to a well designed triangulated suspension.
One advertising and mail-order engineer claims that there is minimal movement in the tower, but almost 90% movement in the top rubber mounts of the shock strut. How can that be accurate if the rubber between the center bushing and the housing measures only 6mm thick? What could the rubber compress to in thickness?

The Camber Truss is finished in a durable satin black powder coating. There are NO holes to drill, only 4 slits to be made in the carpeting and can typically be installed in 15 to 20 minutes.

I was actually sold a car that had this installed. A fantastic product and next to brainless setup. Perfect for the Targa 911 that needs a Triangulated Shock Tower Brace which we designed to tune your suspension by maintaining the 911 Targa tires flat contact patch under hard cornering and keep those front tires EVEN during braking. If you think about it, forces can make the wheels and tires move off the true vertical line zero camber and the vehicle weight is then carried on only a small part of the tread. In cornering, forces cause both struts and shock towers move in the same direction which then allow the wheels/tires to move off true vertical. If the suspension provided significantly more resistance to the cornering forces fed through the tires, the wheel centerline would be closer to true vertical. Keep in mind..this particular setup trapezoid is completely adjustable. On a circle track...then favor one direction vs. the other. Going the other way.. then reverse the adjustments the other direction. Want to favor one side over another.. then have a setup point, but then make an indicator to lock in what is normally even.

My RSR tower brace
I used mine for a RSR set up on a 1972 911T and got a great flat hold to the track on both auto cross and track cornering. Used the Turbo large bar to achieve no rise out of my inner curve wheel. Ive started a new car and Im looking forward to using one in it.
