The Arai GPV-R represents the next evolution of Arai's legendary Round and Smooth Form philosophy, combining advanced shell design with an uncompromising focus on driver protection. Maintaining Arai's signature Egg-Shaped Form (ESF), the newly reshaped shell features a lower shield pivot point that creates a smoother, rounder upper profile to better redistribute impact energy and help reduce direct impact forces. This design allows energy to more effectively glance off the helmet shell during impacts, supporting Arai's commitment to maximizing protection. Enhanced with a new center shield lock system featuring a secure positive lock and effortless operation from either side of the helmet, the GPV-R delivers the performance, safety, and innovation expected from professional motorsport. Certified to FIA 8859-2024 and SA2025 standards, the GPV-R is engineered for drivers who demand the highest level of confidence on track. (PED Kit and HANS Posts available as optional accessories.)

Combine Arai’s proprietary, groundbreaking PB-cLc (Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate) shell construction -- lowered pivot point allowing for a more round and smooth Egg-Shape Form shell, sculpting cheek pads, lowered chin bar for enhanced downward vision, on and on. The new shell gives you incredible strength and flexibility, and that strength allows Arai to use an extremely soft EPS liner that’s so comfortable it’ll make you think more about a nap than a race. Right until you strap in, that is. The cheek pads are replaceable for a more personal fit. Up top, the ventilation system is greatly improved with three large intake vents, plus four larger exhaust cowls.
