BMW 2002 Shell Multi Point Roll Cage Kit
Safety Devices ultimate Bolt-in Cage Kit offered by Stable Energies. The complete roll cage structure integrates with the inherent strength of the body shell for which it has been designed while at the same time compensating for its weaknesses. It is pinned by high tensile bolts to welded mountings on the screen pillar, screen rail, door pillars and cant rails in addition to the normal base mounts. Where necessary, front triangulation members are incorporated and the back stays arranged to transfer abnormal suspension shock loadings into the roll cage, thereby improving handling and increasing the life of the shell. For the Club Racers, a Seat Back Brace can be attached to the harness bar as well.

The Multi Point Bolt-in Cages are made from Cold Drawn Seamless tubing (CDS). Structures provide maximum compressive strength with the minimum possible bends so avoiding the weaknesses in sharp bends. The manufacturing methods involve a sophisticated production process which includes CAD design, laser cut components, computer controlled bending, jig built welding and finally phosphating and Satin Black polyester powder coating to produce the finest finish in the industry. The revolutionary ‘saddle bracket‘ joint developed by Safety Devices is approved by the FIA, RAC, MSA. Options vary between models, please call for more specific information.
