The Racetech RT4100 Racing Seat is an FIA 8855-1999 approved fiberglass racing seat engineered for professional and club-level motorsport, road racing, circuit racing, rally, drag racing, and track car applications. This lightweight race car seat features a strong fiberglass composite shell with generous shoulder room and a compact external profile for improved cockpit fitment. Parallel seat sides and pronounced thigh support help securely position the driver during high lateral loads, while large harness openings accommodate up to a 6-point racing harness and provide full HANS and FHR compatibility. A removable molded base cushion allows additional adjustment of driver seating position and height.

Designed as a lightweight, FIA-approved competition racing seat, the Racetech RT4100 features a gloss black gel-coated fiberglass composite shell with fire-retardant nylon upholstery and breathable Spacer mesh through the torso area. The RT4100 is also back-mount compatible, allowing optional attachment at shoulder level for additional race car chassis integration. With a fiberglass shell weighing approximately 12.6 lb (5.7 kg), the Racetech RT4100 motorsport seat combines lightweight construction, secure driver support, 6-point harness compatibility, HANS compatibility, and FIA-approved racing performance for competition and performance vehicles.

Choosing the Correct RT4100 Size:

The Racetech RT4100 Racing Seat is available in three sizes to accommodate different driver builds and race car cockpit configurations: Standard (RT4100), Tall (RT4100T), and Wide & Tall (RT4100WT). All three feature a lightweight fiberglass composite shell, FIA 8855-1999 approval, HANS/FHR compatibility, large harness guides, and compatibility with up to a 6-point racing harness. The RT4100 Standard offers the most compact dimensions with a 15.0-inch internal hip width, while the RT4100T Tall maintains the same 15.0-inch hip width but increases overall height to 36.6 inches, with higher shoulder and harness guide positioning for taller drivers. The RT4100WT Wide & Tall combines the taller dimensions with an increased 16.5-inch internal hip width, providing additional width and height for larger drivers.
