The Racetech RT4100HR Racing Seat is an FIA 8855-1999 approved fiberglass racing seat with integrated head restraints, engineered for road racing, circuit racing, rally, drag racing, and competition motorsports. Its lightweight fiberglass composite shell features optimized racing seat geometry, parallel sides, pronounced thigh support, and integrated head-restraint wings for enhanced driver protection. Large harness guides accommodate up to a 6-point racing harness, while full FHR/HANS compatibility makes the RT4100HR a versatile choice for competition race cars. A removable molded base cushion provides additional flexibility for driver fit and seating position.

Designed as a lightweight FIA-approved head restraint racing seat, the Racetech RT4100HR features a gloss black gel-coated fiberglass composite shell with black fire-retardant nylon upholstery and breathable Spacer mesh through the torso area. The seat is also back-mount compatible, allowing optional attachment to the roll cage at shoulder level for additional chassis integration; back mounting is not required for FIA homologation. Available in Standard, Tall, and Wide & Tall configurations, the RT4100HR Series provides multiple fitment options for different driver sizes and race car cockpits.

Choosing the Correct RT4100HR Size:

The RT4100HR Standard provides a 15.0-inch internal hip width and 34.3-inch overall height. The RT4100THR Tall Racing Seat maintains the same 15.0-inch internal hip width while increasing overall height to 36.6 inches, with higher shoulder wings, harness guides, and head-restraint eyeline to accommodate taller drivers. The RT4100WTHR Wide & Tall Racing Seat combines the taller dimensions with an increased 16.5-inch internal hip width, providing additional room for larger drivers. Racetech specifies the WTHR as approximately 60 mm taller and 40 mm wider than the standard RT4100HR.
