The Racetech RT4200HR Racing Seat is an FIA 8855-1999 approved fiberglass composite racing seat designed for club and national-level circuit racing, rally, and competition motorsports. Building on Racetech's proven RT4100 shell geometry, the RT4200HR features increased rib support and enhanced head-restraint foaming for a more secure fit and improved driver containment. The integrated head restraint provides a 12.2-inch internal width, compared with 12.6 inches on the RT4100HR, creating a closer-fitting head-restraint area while maintaining proper FHR/HANS compatibility. The lightweight fiberglass shell also incorporates pronounced thigh support, parallel sides, large harness guides, and compatibility with up to a 6-point racing harness.

Designed for secure driver positioning and race car cockpit integration, the Racetech RT4200HR motorsport seat features Racetech's back-mounting system, flush mounting bosses, and a molded base cushion. The seat is finished with a gloss black gel-coated fiberglass composite shell and black fire-retardant nylon upholstery with breathable Spacer mesh. Available in Standard, Tall, and Wide & Tall configurations, the RT4200HR combines enhanced rib and torso support, a narrower padded head-restraint area, lightweight fiberglass construction, and FIA-approved racing performance for drivers seeking greater containment than the RT4100HR.

The Racetech RT4200HR Racing Seat is available in three sizes to accommodate different driver builds and race car cockpit configurations: Standard (RT4200HR), Tall (RT4200THR), and Wide & Tall (RT4200WTHR). All three feature a fiberglass composite shell, FIA 8855-1999 approval, integrated head restraints, HANS/FHR compatibility, large harness guides, and compatibility with up to a 6-point racing harness. The RT4200HR Standard has a 15.0-inch internal hip width, 34.3-inch maximum height, and 26.4-inch maximum length. The RT4200THR Tall retains the 15.0-inch hip width while increasing height to 36.6 inches and maximum length to 27.2 inches. The RT4200WTHR Wide & Tall combines the taller dimensions with an increased 16.5-inch internal hip width, providing additional width and height for larger drivers.
